BD Multimedia has announced that it has closed an agreement to acquire METACOLLECTOR.
BD Multimedia is a payment institution based in Paris and approved by the prudential control and resolution authority, the French banking regulator.

METACOLLECTOR will launch a fractionalized NFT series on Tezos. The fractionalized NFTs will be called ARTFRAGS and will be be fragments of a digital art piece that can be automatically put back together to showcase the complete NFT.
The fragments will be listed on Rarible and OBJKT and can be traded on both platforms. The ARTFRAGS will be compatible and ready for virtual metaverse galleries.
The NFTs will be inspired by famous works like Kandinsky’s creatures, a Nymphéa from Monet, and an abstract figure from Mondrian.
Tezos was chosen for its low energy consumption and low transaction fees. Metacollector aims to later expand to Ethereum 2 when it is deployed.
