Tezos, has seen a growing amount of NFT-related tools recently including both analytical and also storage solutions, and now a new NFT marketplace analytical tool has been announced. Pedro Martinez, a Blockchain Developer and AI & AlgoTrading Specialist known for the Tezos Living Things collection, recently introduced pedrodig.xyz, a comprehensive analytics tool tailored for the NFT marketplace on Tezos.

Origins of PedroDig

The brainchild behind the platform, embarked on his programming journey with a vision and an insatiable curiosity about the Tezos blockchain. As he recalled:

“Having undertaken a few personal projects, including smart contract writing for Tezos and frontend development with React, I was no stranger to the rush of adrenaline that coding offers.”

This experience propelled him towards the inception of an idea that would soon become a reality. Initially conceived as a short-term project, the development of pedrodig.xyz extended from two weeks to a four-month endeavor. Yet, for Martinez, every challenge faced was a lesson in disguise.

Martinez described the data extraction process from objkt.com as akin to a multi-level game, with increasing difficulty at every tier.

“Discovering parameters, calculating them, and most importantly, troubleshooting, felt like unlocking achievements in a game”.

The PedroDig Project

Technical Framework of PedroDig

At its core, pedrodig.xyz harnesses live data from objkt.com, accurately capturing all purchase transaction types. Martinez elaborated on the technical specifics, stating:

“The heart of pedrodig.xyz is its ability to fetch live data from objkt.com… This data is then channeled into three microservices: Art, Artist, and Collector.”

Notably, the tool uses GraphQL APIs to fetch, compute, and present the data, ensuring accurate and timely insights. The platform’s robust features range from sales statistics, time analysis, and general information to visual data presentations, auction insights, and a specialized collectors’ corner. Every dataset is meticulously organized, offering users an in-depth understanding of the Tezos NFT ecosystem.

Current State and Features

Given its recent launch on October 19th, PedroDig is actively monitoring objkt.com’s live data. While it continues to accumulate and process data, especially for the 7-day and 30-day metrics, users are encouraged to explore the vast array of features already available. These include:

  • Sales Statistics: Metrics covering total volume, primary and secondary sales, profit, and more.
  • Time Analysis: Data illustrating the duration it takes for art pieces to sell.
  • Visual Data: Charts that delineate volume and price trends over diverse timeframes.
  • Auction Insights: Detailed insights into both successful and unsuccessful auctions.
  • Collectors’ Corner: An exhaustive list of collector investments and potential profits.

In his invitation to the platform, Martinez stated:

“Navigate through its detailed tables showcasing arts, artists, collections, and collectors. And while you’re exploring, remember that every number, every chart, every piece of data is the result of countless hours of passion and perseverance.”

Looking Ahead

Beyond the platform, Martinez emphasizes community involvement. He urges users to join the platform’s Discord channel, where feedback, feature suggestions, and general discussions shape the future trajectory of pedrodig.xyz. Martinez concluded:

“My journey, filled with trials and triumphs, is a testament to the magic that happens when tenacity meets technology.”

He also extended his gratitude to numerous platforms and communities for their unwavering support throughout his journey.

In the evolving landscape of Tezos and NFTs, pedrodig.xyz is poised to become an indispensable tool for enthusiasts, artists, collectors, and traders alike.
