It was revealed in an announcement that the fund, valued at $1 million, was inspired by Cordell Broadus’s dedication to assisting both emerging and established artists worldwide. The list includes Laurie Marqueton, Uzumaki Cepeda, Malachi Wright, Cory Anne Roberts, and Reggie Couz. Their upcoming projects are anticipated to showcase the myriad ways in which creative and musical endeavors can be realized on the blockchain.

Collectively, this talented cohort boasts an impressive combined social media reach of a staggering 5,696,412 across various platforms, highlighting their influence and potential impact in the arts and beyond.
Laurie Marqueton: A French/Chinese singer, songwriter, and producer, Laurie began her musical journey at age 14. Influenced by her upbringing across France, China, and the United States, she boasts 1,793 monthly listeners on Spotify and a following of 92,000 on Instagram.
Uzumaki Cepeda: Drawing inspiration from her Dominican roots, Uzumaki creates evocative interactive installations using brightly-colored faux fur, focusing especially on Black and Brown communities’ social issues. She has a following of 141,000 on Instagram and 25,800 on Twitter.
Malachi Wright: A self-taught visual artist, Malachi has been sketching since his early years and is inspired by renaissance paintings. Recognized by celebrities such as Will Smith and Snoop Dogg, Malachi aspires to be a future entrepreneur. His social media reach extends to 151,000 followers on Instagram, 13,100 on Twitter, and 3,900 on Facebook.
Cory Anne Roberts: A photographer and model known for her participation in ANTM, Cory Anne is both a model and an actress, having been featured in several music videos, commercials, and ad campaigns. Her online presence includes 87,700 followers on Instagram and 7,412 on TikTok.
Reggie COUZ: A multi-faceted American artist, Reggie is a singer, record producer, comedian, writer, actor, and an internet sensation. He’s prominently recognized for his engaging content across platforms and his participation in the improv comedy show, Wild ‘N Out. Reggie has an impressive 1,300,000 subscribers on YouTube, 2,500,000 followers on Instagram, 74,500 on Twitter, and another 1,300,000 on TikTok.
Valérie Whitacre, Head of Art at Trilitech, which functions as the London hub for the Tezos ecosystem, commented on the venture.
“There are a couple of visual arts projects that are kicking off the fund. That’s really, again, to expose the dynamic way in which creatives can use the blockchain to try and push the boundaries of the types of projects we’re going to see.”
Furthermore, some of these blockchain-based art projects are imbued with charitable components that resonate with the artists or the broader communities they have fostered. Whitacre emphasized how these efforts can:
“[transition] dynamic creative models, whether it be more pinup style models and portraits to abstractions of everyday objects.”
This would be effectively broadening the horizon of what blockchain-based creative content can be.
