Taurus SA is a global leader in enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure. It has now been announced that Taurus has joined Acurast’s service as an independent data transmitter.

With the help of Acurast developers can access real world data and computation processed by Data Transmitters, within their applications through a streamlined marketplace.
Data Transmitters offer their computation to developers and process Acurast Jobs in the Acurast Trusted Virtual Machine that utilizes Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) such as the Android TEE, available in consumer Android devices, to ensure the trustlessness of Acurast’s system.
It should be noted that Acurast is not dependent on one TEE and can support others such as the one from Taurus in the future.
Now, Taurus has become one of these Acurast data transmitters, which will further help to decentralize and strengthen oracle solutions within the Tezos ecosystem.
