typed.art is a new text-based NFT marketplace on Tezos. It has burst onto the Tezos art scene gaining over 1,000 followers on Twitter in 3 days and averaging about 1,000 mints per day.
A lot of creativity and diversity can be found on several NFT marketplaces that are built on Tezos.
In the past year, a large number of NFT platforms have been launched on Tezos.
Some have been more successful than others, but if we compare the numbers, we can conclude that the NFT scene on Tezos is one of the most active in the overall NFT space.
According to Dapp Radar: OpenSea, one of the most popular NFT marketplaces, had 72,760 transactions in the past 7 days, while Tezos-based marketplace objkt.com registered 110,600 transactions in that same period.
Foundation, another well-known marketplace on Ethereum, registered 11,100 transactions in the past 7 days, while Tezos-based platform FXHash registered 101,750 transactions in the past 7 days.
LooksRare, another popular NFT marketplace on Ethereum had 9,610 transactions in the past 7 days, while Hic et Nunc (the HEN contract that is), registered 22,950 transactions in that same period.
But most of the buzz in NFT land isn’t even about the fact that the quantity is taking the lead more often.
It’s the quality and diversity of the art in the Tezos NFT space that continues to bring more people to Tezos-based platforms.
We’ve seen FXHash grow fast after they launched their platform that specializes in generative art.
Now, typed.art might be one of the new platforms that will gain even more momentum over the coming weeks and months.
They have sparked interest fast and gained over 1,000 followers on Twitter in 3 days. Currently, they average about 1,000 mints per day.
What makes typed.art interesting and how does it stand out?
As the name suggests, the art is character-based and enables art like poetry, phrases, and figures that are built up from characters.
The website is minimalistic and reminds of the first Hic Et Nunc platform. For now, it’s the new hype in Tezos NFT land.
Some big names in the NFT art space have already minted there including:
Kevin Abosch, quasimondo, msbourland, presstube, 1mpo$ter, Ganbrood plus many more.
Check out the platform and the art that spawns there, also don’t forget to give them a follow on Twitter.
