Tony Stewart and the All Star Circuit Of Champions have announced Tezos as their new title sponsor.
Tezos will make its official debut when the All Star Circuit of Champions championship season commences on April 8.
Tony Stewart is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver, current NASCAR team co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing, and current co-owner of the Superstar Racing Experience. He is also a three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion as a driver, winning titles in 2002, 2005, and 2011.
The All Star Circuit Of Champions is an American sprint car racing series that was founded in 1970.
The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series is one of the oldest traveling 410 sprint car organizations and is a staple of grassroots, open-wheel racing.
Formed in 1970 by Bud Miller, the series has largely been considered the first ‘outlaw’ Sprint Car organization of the modern era.
Tony Stewart purchased the All Star Circuit Of Champions series in January 2015.
The All Star Circuit Of Champions is scheduled to feature 56 races in 11 states, with every event being streamed live on FloSports Racing. The new season is set to commence on April 8th.
It has now been announced that Tezos will become the title sponsor of the series named ‘Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1′, taking over from FloSports in 2021.
This follows on from the recent multi-year technical partnership FloSports signed with Tezos earlier this year. This new partnership with the All Star Circuit Of Champions isn’t just limited to sponsorship rights as the creation of All Star specific NFTs has been mentioned:
Together, the All Star Circuit of Champions, FloRacing and Tezos will educate sprint car fans on blockchain technology, the opportunities available through the Tezos blockchain and NFTs (non-fungible tokens), including the creation of All Star specific NFTs.
