The French national rugby league launches NFT platform Legendary Plays on Tezos.

A Play is a 3D column that contains a video of legendary moments from a Top14 or ProD2 Rugby match.

When you purchase a Play, you become the owner of a limited-edition copy of that in-game action.

A Play NFT is your key to accessing the Legendary Plays platform.

For each series, free Universal Plays (1 star rarity level) are created to allow everyone to start their collection and access the platform.

1 star Plays are not registered on the Tezos blockchain.

Plays of 2 stars and higher are registered on the Tezos blockchain. 

Rarity levels

Plays have different rarity levels depending on how many stars they display.

For collectors, a limited number of 1,111 copies per Play are created per moment of play:

– 1,000 Remarkable Plays  (2 stars),

– 100 Exceptional Plays  (3 stars),

– 10 Spectacular Plays  (4 stars)

– 1 unique Legendary Plays  (5 stars)

Plays are sold by Pack from 9.90 EUR. Payment is currently in fiat, but will also be possible in tez (XTZ) in the near future. 

Plays can be traded on the secondary market which is expected to launch in Q1 of 2023.  

Evolving Plays

When all Plays have been purchased, or the on-sale period has ended, the Plays in question are no longer available for purchase.
If not all Plays in the higher rarity levels have been sold, lower rarity levels can evolve into the leftover higher rarities. 

You will be able to use Plays to take up challenges and participate in games, which will be offering Boosters to make them evolve and move up in rarity level (if there is still availability).

Additionally the games will allow you to earn rewards to give you exceptional experiences. This feature is expected to launch in Q1 2023.

The Fan Championship

The Fans Championship brings together rugby fans from all territories to promote their passion, to come together in communities of Fans, to play and compete through a supporters’ championship.

A first version of the Fans’ Championship will be available at the end of the first quarter of 2023.
