Rarible Integration
Rarible announced a while ago that they would start supporting Tezos NFTs on their platform. And they just delivered on that promise. This shines a formerly Ethereum focussed spotlight on Tezos NFTs, expanding the market range of Tezos-based artists.
The Tezos integration will be done in two phases. Currently, the Tezos Rarible collection and the Ubisoft NFTs are available on Rarible.
Rarible stated on their blog post:
It comes as no surprise, then, that major brands have started using Tezos to make their Web3-ready product.
French video game giant Ubisoft is the latest such company to partner with Tezos, having just launched Ubisoft Quartz, a platform for players to acquire Digits, the first NFTs playable in AAA games, starting with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint.
Soon after, artists will be able to mint on Tezos through Rarible. It will also be possible to add Royalties, which makes it possible to trade existing NFTs on Rarible without denying the original minter of the NFT of his or her royalties on the platform the NFT was minted on.
This will open the door to Rarible for popular collections like Tezzardz, Ziggurats and Neonz.
Cool Rarible features:
– Message any Tezos wallet directly on the marketplace using the multi chain Rarible Messenger.
– Get your Tezos account verified on Rarible.com within 48 hours
– Join #tezos channel on Rarible Discord to learn about new projects, updates and more!
OneOf million dollar NFT sale
The OneOf X Whitney Houston Collection auction broke the record for the highest selling NFT on the Tezos blockchain at XTZ equivalent to $1 Million.
The proceeds of the auction will go to the Whitney E. Houston Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering young creators to reach for the stars, just as Whitney did.
In a space where only 5% of NFTs sold are created by women, OneOf is proud to have brought the never-before-heard Whitney song to the world and to support today’s generation of women artists and musicians, partnering with 17-year-old artist Diana Sinclair to create a powerful interactive video to accompany the song.
