One of the first noticeable and cool features of the game is the fact that Planting trees in Goysa’s Land, will result in planting a real tree by official partner Eden Reforestation Projects. This not as a carbon offset measure, since interacting with the Tezos blockchain is already as energy efficient as it gets.

For example, minting an NFT on Tezos consumes as much energy as sending a tweet. So that tree that you plant by playing the game, actually contributes to an improvement of the environment, instead of compensating excessive energy consumption. 

Besides having an impact on the real world, Goya’s Land is created to be an enjoyable game which allows you to earn through yield farming aspects that are incorporated in the game. 

The game allows you to collect and resell fun looking NFT animals that have special utilities in the game. The animals are unique and made of candies, fruits, cutting-edge technology or inspired by the far lands of the East. Feed them, cuddle them, cater to their needs and they will reward you for it. 

There will be three rarity levels in the game. Depending on its rarity level, every NFT will yield resources that will be used in the game. 

Additionally, you’ll be able to make your character level up, through your actions in the game. 

First the game is going to be a solo-player but a multiplayer mode is being developed. Eventually the goal is an Animal Crossing-like experience, so the goal in the long term is to create a community of gamers that can gather directly in the game.

NFT Presale

The NFT presale is planned to take place in February 2022 and the beta version will be available shortly after.
