The idea is simple: you buy space in the form of apartments. The apartments are very basic and can be one or more floors high. The apartments can be decorated at will, this can be done by adding existing NFT’s or by creating NFT’s that especially fit a specific purpose in the game.
Think of wallpaper, flooring, background music etc. Your apartment will be much more than just a place to show your NFT art, your apartment can be your canvas itself.
Users have avatars called “Kogo’s” that can walk through the apartments. With these avatars you can also visit other players’ apartments.
In the current (very basic) version of the game, there is multiplayer connection, where several players can get into the same space and walk around.
As part of the game, a series of Kogoverse NFT’s are dropped which can be showcased in the Kogoverse apartments. A selection of 100 of these NFt’s will also be painted on the walls of a small cabin in Iceland.
As stated before, Kogoverse doesn’t limit this option to Kogoverse NFT’s only. You’ll be able to place all Tezos-based NFTs in your Kogoverse apartment.
Anyone can design art or objects or wallpaper or whatever specifically fitting into Kogoverse apartments and use them in apartments or sell them to other players.
You can also integrate music in NFT form that will play in your property. In later stages you could create a club and play your DJ set while hosting a Kogoverse party.
There will be a voting system which will allow for democratic decisions on pretty much everything. Holders of Kogoverse NFT’s will have voting rights in the first stage, but once apartments are sold, only owners of apartments will have voting rights.
The first subject that will be up for voting, is the Kogoverse logo.
There will be layers of engagement added. For example, minigames where you can earn points by performing simple actions. There will be leaderboards that will show the most successful players per minigame.
You can win an NFT by getting certain positions on the leaderboard.
Your Kogo avator will have a username and players will be able to chat with each other in a chat function.
