Auto Hero Tezos Game

The Tezos Foundation has officially announced a grant to Oxalus.io, the team behind the notable game Auto Hero, marking a significant step towards transforming the popular game into a Web3 experience. This initiative is set to leverage the Tezos blockchain, aiming to introduce a new dimension to the gaming experience.

Auto Hero, crafted by Bombus Studio, is recognized for its engaging side-scrolling 2D platformer gameplay, featuring automatic shooting mechanics. The game, available on both Google and iOS platforms, has garnered substantial success, boasting an impressive 5 million downloads. It maintains a vibrant community of 120,000 monthly active users and has generated $500,000 in revenue, underscoring its popularity and financial viability.

Bombus Studio, based in Vietnam, has established a reputable presence in the game development industry, with a portfolio of Web2 games achieving over 4 million downloads. Additionally, the studio has ventured into the Web3 space with a news platform. Their focus is on incorporating in-game items as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the Tezos blockchain, encompassing characters, skins, and weapons. This approach aims to blend the excitement of gaming with the innovative aspects of blockchain technology.

The transition of Auto Hero to a Web3 framework involves converting the existing system for players to fuse and upgrade items into on-chain transactions once they are transformed into NFTs. This move is expected to enhance player engagement by leveraging the unique attributes of blockchain technology, such as ownership and transferability of digital assets.

Auto Hero offers players a rich gaming experience with its auto shooting gameplay, easy controls, and a variety of monsters and missions. The game boasts over 150 battle missions and 140 types of weapons, providing a comprehensive and immersive experience. Players are encouraged to upgrade their characters and weapons to tackle increasingly challenging levels, adding depth and replayability to the game.

Bombus Studio’s commitment to creating games that bring joy and excitement to their customers is evident in their diverse game portfolio. With the support of the Tezos Foundation, Auto Hero’s transition into the Web3 space is poised to set a new standard for gaming experiences, combining traditional gameplay elements with the innovative possibilities of blockchain technology.

For those interested in experiencing Auto Hero, the game is available for download on the PlayStore and IOS. Further information about Bombus Studio and their projects can be found on their official website. This collaboration between Tezos Foundation and Oxalus.io represents a significant milestone in the intersection of gaming and blockchain, promising to deliver a new era of digital entertainment.
