The OneOf Tadow Release

Tadow: is the jam session to end all jam sessions that resulted in a music video that hit over 387 million views on Youtube so far.

Since then, the musical duo of Masego and FKJ has performed across the world with sell-out tours and at larger-than-life festivals.

Masego and FKJ,  have partnered with Toronto-based mixed-reality artist Voidz (Drake and Stromae) to create digital art and drop an NFT series on OneOf. The NFT series will include certain perks.

For The Tadow Collection, the duo collaborated to strip down their platinum record and reinterpret it through a series of stunning 3D motion NFTs featuring the cool electronic beats of “Tadow” to celebrate the song’s upcoming fifth anniversary.

Three of the pieces in the collection center on just a few components, or stems, of the original single, ranging from the saxophone to the bass and drums.

Masego said:

“FKJ and I are so excited to partner with Voidz and OneOf on this Tadow collection.

We couldn’t imagine a better way to commemorate the timelessness of Tadow on its 5 year anniversary, by giving fans a collectible experience that visually unpacks the many layers that go into a classic song.

I’m always looking for new avenues to push my music forward and create special moments for fans, and this collection accomplishes that for us.

I think this is the first NFT to create a digestible visual language of the music making process, and I hope it inspires more musicians to explore ways to translate that process for fans and collectors.”

Perks

There will be four rarity levels in the NFT series: Green, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. All NFTs owners have a chance to win certain perks:

– Green: 5 winners will get a personalized Masego video and a Masego Retweet/ Mention.

– Gold: 20 winners will get tickets to live shows, signed merchandise and vinyls and a virtual jam session with Masego. 

– Platinum: 10 winners will get a Guitar signed by FKJ, song feedback from Masego, VIP tix to live shows, meet and greets with Masego or FJK and a virtual jam session with Masego.

– Diamond: 1 lucky winner will get unlimited tickets to shows for 3 years, meet and greets with Masego or FJK, an official RIAA Platinum Record and a virtual jam session with Masego. 

The Platinum Remix competition

OneOf will be hosting a remix competition for buyers of at least 1 of the Platinum NFTs. Holders will have the opportunity to remix the song “Tadow” and be heard by Masego, FKJ and fans around the world!

Here are the rules:

• Each PLATINUM NFT will come with the different audio stems that make up the original 8-minute track “Tadow” heard within that NFT
• Holders can create their own unique remix of “Tadow”, up to 30 seconds
• To enter, upload remix to Twitter/Tik Tok/Instagram using #Tadow and tagging @OneOfNFT
• The competition will end on April 10th and the winner will be chosen on April 11th.

The winner of the competition will receive:

• Custom 1 of 1 NFT made by Voidz
• Signed saxophone from Masego
• Pair of concert tickets to a future show
• Track feedback from Masego
• Remixed NFT will be shared across social media
