Tezos Hits Over 10,000 New Contract Deployments In A Month
Tezos has recently hit 10,000 new smart contract deployments in July 2022, and the month isn’t even over.
This breaks the record for the highest number of new smart contracts deployed to the Tezos blockchain in just one month.

Tezos has recently hit 10,000 new smart contract deployments in July 2022, and the month isn’t even over.
This breaks the record for the highest number of new smart contracts deployed to the Tezos blockchain in one month.
As it stands now in July, 10,158 new contract deployments have been initiated with still over 5 days remaining in the month.

In July 2021, there were 505 new deployments of smart contracts to the Tezos blockchain, this represents over a 1,911% increase on the year.
In the month of June 2022, there were 6,913 deployments, representing a 46.94% increase on the month.
Developer Adoption
It’s been a big month for new development on Tezos and that has been aided by many developer / Web 3 events and hackathons that have taken place.
Some noticeable recent events have included Art Basel, Proof of People, the Polish Urban Art Area Festival, TezDev, and TezAsia.
Just two developer events, TezDev and TezAsia recorded over 12,200 registrants combined, with TezAsia still running until August 16th.
In a Git repository report, still in the process of being compiled by XTZ News, a total of 831 recently-updated and active repositories have been found so far (when duplicates are removed).
A total of 1,382 git repositories (including inactive) have been collected so far, however there are still many to still explore on different repository platforms including Github, Gitlab and Gitopia.

The Tezos Foundation announces its support for the Vigicard project, the first mobile application improving the monitoring of patients subject to drug allergies. Based on Tezos blockchain technology, the application was co-developed by a team of Europe-renowned allergists from Montpellier University Hospital, and Web3 experts Codinsight.
