TezNutz will be a new 100% blockchain-based play-to-earn game on the Tezos blockchain.
“Build your very unique story while collecting, playing the game, make real money with the native token by winning wager matches, buying and selling NFTs and winning tournaments.”
NFT Collectables
TezNutz will be a collectible NFT game with a game experience added at a later stage. All in-game characters will be generative NFTs that will be minted on the Tezos blockchain.
The series will include different rarity levels that will be revealed after mint. TezNutz NFTs can be listed and traded on objkt.com. Later, DeFi capabilities like staking will be added to the in-game assets.
The first series will be fully equipped with armor and weapons that can also be upgraded later.
The series after that will be plain characters for which you will need to buy armor and weapons separately.
The first series will be minted on the 30th of June (Whitelist mint) and the 2nd of July (Public mint).
The whitelisting process is easy: the user just has to hit the whitelist button on the website and they are in.
Whitelist mint price is 20 XTZ. Public mint price is 30 XTZ.
Play to Earn
Owners of the NFT characters will be able to battle other players and earn rewards while playing. The gaming element will be added in a later stage.
Owners of TezNutz NFTs will have the option to start going to war against other TezNutz with it. By playing the game your NFTs gain XP.
Accumulating XP will help the player to rise in ranking and his TezNutz to reach new levels and become even stronger.
To increase your chances to win battles, you can improve your equipment. TezNutz can be equiped and upgraded with helmets, armor, weapons and shields.
Native tokens
To play TezNutz, players are not forced to buy tokens. All they need is a TezNutz NFT.
“No paywalls are blocking you from starting your ingame journey. Furthermore, there is an option to never even purchase a single token and still play the game.
Our play-to-earn system allows the player to collect NFTs without having to use any of their own funds. The only restriction is to own a TezNutz.
Playing more will allow players to be eligible to purchase higher value NFTs in the future. Once a player decides to actually purchase some of the native token, the player might be able to make progress quicker.”
Besides faster progression in the game, the native token has more functionality than in-game purchases.
The token will be used for Governance, in-game rewards, NFT marketplace purchases and reward reimbursement.
Another interesting feature is the fact that the token is deflationary. Deflation is determined by a buyer and seller tax (both initially 2.5% totalling up to 5% tax per trade).
