The initial roadmap can be found on the website here.
A demonstration video of development gameplay can be found on Twitter here.
In PAW players can battle each other and earn rewards and increase their character’s values.
Besides the actual gaming mechanics, PAW includes farming where you can build resources, but you can also rent out your artifacts.
The Storyline
“We came back from the other side to start a revolution and fight against the slaughter. Before we start the war we need to build alliances to have outposts and find trustful humans to help us.
Alliances help us to come off the blockchain and IPFS into the gameworld where we are then able to fight in 3D.
To support Pigs & Hogs in this Revolutions humans need to adopt Pigs & Hogs from IPFS and level them up to get ready for the revolution.
In addition, humans should build farms as bootcamp for the Army but as well to be able to farm and harvest for the war treasury.
Your Farm is your homebase for everything coming next. If you have no Farm you can partner up with humans who have one or ….”
Getting Started
To get started, players need at least one character like a Pig or a Hog.
Then you’d need some land where you can build a fort and other strategic artifacts such as water, weapons, veggies, and power.
The characters and artifacts are all registered in the form of NFTs on the Tezos blockchain and can be bought on NFT marketplace Kalamintor the main Pigs At War marketplace on their website here.
These resources are needed to eventually be able to deploy attacks on other farms.
One of the key elements in the game are defense walls that allow you to keep the enemy out of your farm.
Renting out your items
An interesting feature in the game is the fact that you can rent out your items to players that are looking to expand without needing to buy more items themselves.
This is an exciting feature, since this allows you to earn without investing much time.
On the other side, it allows players that do want to spend time playing, to do so without making a substantial investment.
Both parties will be able to earn through the game on terms they set amongst themselves.
