Madfish Solutions Become An Acurast Data Transmitter
When developers of projects on Tezos need to integrate data such as price feeds, verifiable randomness, or any other off-chain data for their dApps, an oracle can supply that data.
To be able to supply this, multiple entities need to supply the data and this needs to be processed by data transmitters.
Acurast is an oracle using data transmitters for this purpose.
Data Transmitters offer their computation to developers and process Acurast Jobs in the Acurast Trusted Virtual Machine that utilizes Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) such as the Android TEE, available in consumer Android devices (to ensure the trustlessness of Acurast’s system).
Earlier this month, Taurus SA, which is a global leader in enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure, announced to become a data transmitter for Acurast.
Today, Madfish announced they too have joined ranks.
Madfish will function as one of those data transmitters and is expected to help give price feeds to Defi projects like Yupana Finance which rely on Acurast to supply off-chain market data.
MadFish is a blockchain technology company that develops open-source projects for the DeFi ecosystem.
Madfish Believes that decentralized solutions will change the world.
By becoming one of Acurast data transmitters, Madfish will further help to decentralize and strengthen oracle solutions within the Tezos ecosystem.
Kornii Vasylchenko, CTO at Madfish
“Madfish, the core developer in the Tezos DeFi ecosystem, found Acurast to be a key solution for providing reliable on-chain oracle data.
To support the initiative, we at Madfish decided to become one of the data transmitters on Acurast to make our contribution to their noble mission.”
Alessandro DeCarli, Acurast co-founder:
“Madfish has been pioneering DeFi on Tezos since the very early days.
With the launch of Quipuswap Madfish managed to provide the community with the first active AMM on Tezos. We are proud to be onboarding Madfish as a data transmitter and data consumer for their open-source non-custodial lending platform Yupana.
I’m honored to have this outstanding tech team and innovator join our community.”

Etherlink, the Tezos blockchain’s latest Layer 2 solution, is set to redefine the landscape of decentralized applications (DApps) with its upcoming mainnet launch in March 2024. This EVM-compatible, optimistic rollup distinguishes itself from other external Layer 2 platforms like Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon, due to its unique enshrinement within the Tezos blockchain.
