La DCF And KlapCoin
The project is founded by a large group of professionals from the French movie industry and ex-employees from French banking giant BNP Paribas.
The project will go by the name of KlapCoin and will allow people to invest in a catalog of films selected by a committee of audiovisual professionals.
KlapCoin generates, in addition to a return on investment, unique associated rights, such as cinema tickets, invitations to previews, and the registration of the name of the main investors in the generics.
There will be two tokens, one for governance (Lux) and one for utility (KlapCoin). When buying KlapCoin at the ICO, you will receive 88.5% of your investment value in KlapCoins and 11.5% in Lux.
The governance token allows you to participate in community votes. Lux can also be staked, which allows you to invest your KlapCoins in films that finance the development of cinematographic works.
Lux tokens also allow you to receive unique associated rights rewards such as access to cinema tickets at reduced prices, the possibility of meeting the team, and many other advantages that will be announced at a later stage.
For this generation, investing in a cryptocurrency dedicated to the development of films to be watched in theaters or from a streaming sofa poses no problem, quite the contrary. This is why we are convinced that the Klapcoin will speak to the audience of today and even more to that of tomorrow.
– Sarah Lelouch – Managing Director of La DCF
The project is supported by Sarah Lelouch (a French producer and director and daughter to famous French film director, writer, cinematographer, actor and producer Claude Lelouch), Joël Girod (20 years with BNP Paribas, the world’s 8th largest bank by assets), Jean-David Blanc (founder of Allo Ciné and Molotov), Valérie Perrin (author of bestsellers), Elsa Zilberstein (actress), Fred Musa (animator producer), Marie-Pierre Huster (screenwriter), Alexandra Schamis (artistic agent at the head of AS Talents) and Kev Adams (artistic agent).
The other three members will be announced at the time of the ICO (Initial Coin Offering).
The project has already been featured in some major publications in France such as ‘Le Monde’ here and Les Echos .
Partner: EXAION – subsidiary of the EDF group
To guarantee the quality and security of investments, the DCF collaborates with Exaion. Exaion helped with the creation of KlapCoin for the project.
Exaion EDF Group is a subsidiary of EDF, the second-largest electric utility company in Europe with a yearly revenue of $ 70 billion, over 152,000 employees and partly owned by the French state.
Exaion EDF Group specializes in high-performance computing and is a cloud provider for blockchain solutions.
Exaion EDF Group was the first French corporation to participate in the Tezos ecosystem as a block validator and corporate baker.
