On Friday January 27th, the curtains open on the second act of Demotapers, “Demotapers Classics”, which will see Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo’s “Una Furtiva Lagrima” interpreted by visual artists Laurence Fuller and Von Doyle as part of an exclusive drop on objktcom.

The protagonist of the track, Nemorino, longs for Adina, who initially seems uninterested in him. To win her love, he buys a love potion only to realize it’s just wine and that she’s loved him all along, after noticing a hidden tear in her eye (una furtiva lagrima).
Today this journey of love from the 19th century is reimagined visually through the contemporary lens of visual artists Laurence Fuller and Von Doyl, who render the piece with timeless romanticism and modern poetics.

The drop will take place on objktcom on Friday, January 27th at 6 pm CET / 12 pm ET and involve the following dynamics:
– Laurence Fuller will present two pieces, the first consisting of 999 editions at 6 xtz each, whereas the second consisting of a 1/1 with a fixed price at 1500 xtz. – Von Doyle will present a 1/1 piece up to auction over the course of 24 hours, with the minimum bid starting at 500 xtz.
