Als Corporate Baker wird Deloitte Luxembourg für die Validierung, Sicherung und das Hinzufügen von Transaktionen (Blöcken) zur Tezos-Blockchain verantwortlich sein. Diese neue Position ermöglicht es Deloitte Luxemburg und Tezos, gemeinsam mit anderen Akteuren des Ökosystems Synergien bei Web3-bezogenen Themen zu erkunden.

Mit der Ernennung zum Corporate Baker verstärkt Deloitte Luxembourg sein Engagement in der Tezos-Governance und -Protokollentwicklung und garantiert die Sicherheit und Überprüfbarkeit des Netzwerks. Die Tezos-Blockchain, die im vergangenen Juni ihr fünfjähriges Bestehen feierte, hat 14 Upgrades durchlaufen. Während die Mumbai (Mumbai Das Upgrade im vergangenen März ermöglichte es der Blockchain, ihre gesamte Rechenleistung zu vervielfachen und überschreiten die symbolische Schwelle von einer Million Transaktionen pro Sekunde, Nairobi, die im Juni eingeführt wurde, brachte mehrere Verbesserungen des Tezos-Wirtschaftsprotokolls mit sich, wie z. B. als bis zu 8-fache Steigerung der Anzahl der Transaktionen pro Sekunde (TPS) und neue Funktionalitäten für Smart Rollups.

Diese Position ermöglicht es ihnen, eine aktive Rolle bei der Verwaltung von Tezos zu spielen und die Entwicklung der Kette zu fördern, indem sie die Sicherheit und Zuverlässigkeit des Netzwerks garantiert. Die Hauptaufgabe eines Bakers besteht darin, Blöcke auf der Blockchain zu erstellen und zu validieren und das Netzwerk durch sein oder ihr Stimmrecht im Verhältnis zur Anzahl der gehaltenen Tez zu sichern.
