What’s left of humanity, has found refuge in the most remote corners of the planet. But the human race has not been defeated yet. An army is elaborating in the greatest of secrecy a plan to reconquer the territories against the machines.
An army of 7,000 super soldiers is currently being organized for the final battle.
This is the setting of the new NFT game TezoTrooperz, which is being developed on Tezos. TezoTrooperz is a play-to-earn game with yield farming characteristics. By launching a collection of 7,000 futuristic NFT warriors, players can earn $REBL, the currency in the game.
Using $REBL, players will be able to mint more troops to defend the earth, buy items to boost their squad, send raids that will pillage machine’s camps for their $REBL, and much more to come.
Players will also be able to vote through the TezoTrooperz DAO implemented through a dedicated channel on the Tezotrooper discord on the directions to take for the next phase of the game.
At launch (date to be announced), you can mint your first-generation 0 TezoTrooperz. There will be 4 randomly generated rarity levels: Warrior, Long Range, Troop Leader, and King. The rarity levels will also be ranking levels that give you certain advantages in the game.
In the beta version of the game, players will just be able to earn $REBL and use the earned $REBL to perform a number of actions:
– Mint new generation 1 TezoTrooperz.
– Farm resources in order to craft items that will boost your character’s capacities.
– Buy or craft new items to strengthen your characters’ abilities.
– Send your TezoTrooperz to the underground training camp where they’ll sharpen their skills which will allow them to improve their daily return of $REBL.
– Send your TezoTrooperz to raid in order to pillage the positions of the cold machines led by Titan.
Some interesting tokenomics and incentives have been integrated into the game. Claiming REBL is a risky business. There is a chance that all of your accumulated REBL will be stolen by cold machines if you decide to claim. The chance for this to happen depends on your ranking and can vary from 40% to 15% chance regarding your NFT’s faction.
Unstaking your TezoTrooper brings risks too: you can be kidnapped and imprisoned by Titan. Technically this doesn’t mean that your TezoTrooper will leave your wallet, but it means that the state of the TezoTrooper will change (stake, unstake, kidnapped).
In that case, you will need to organize a rescue mission with other players to liberate prisoners. There is also a chance that your character gets killed (= NFT burn) while being outside the Base. Note that only generation 1 TezoTrooperz are being exposed to these risks, not generation 0. Our whitepaper will explain in great detail the different mechanisms.
There will only ever be 7,000 Generation 0 minted with XTZ while Generation 1 will be minted with REBL only. This will be explained in further detail after Phase 1 has been successfully launched and all Gen-0 TezoTrooperz minted.
