Tezos-based dApp Uconomy Enables Voucher And Loyalty Programs

Uconomy is a dApp that works on your phone or tablet (both Android and iOS). Uconomy enables businesses to launch voucher and loyalty programs. 

Any business can now create marketing campaigns to reward returning customers with discounts or vouchers. The process to create such a campaign is simple and free.

After downloading and installing the dApp, the user can simply create a voucher/ redeemable program.

For example: to offer a customer their sixth coffee for free, a coffee bar creates a “free coffee” voucher, priced at 5 coffee points.

With every coffee purchase, a customer that uses Uconomy receives 1 coffee point.

Once a customer collects 5 coffee points, he can redeem the 5 coffee points for a free coffee.

Tezos

Uconomy is a Tezos-based dApp.

“With every app install, a Tezos wallet is created on behalf of the user and used as the platform account, the public key is used to identify recipients and the secret key to sign self-certified transactions towards other public keys.

Moving forward Uconomy will leverage the smart rollups available in Tezos in conjunction with regular smart contracts to orchestrate complex B2B and B2C scenarios that will require going past the bluetooth barrier and record transactions in a global ledger.

Furthermore, our startup will become a node operator, as staking and baking are integral parts of our business model.”

Current state

Uconomy is currently in its startup phase. The Uconomy team is currently working on improving the Uconomy user interface, and on the next module which is intended to include the Uconomy platform token UMY.
