The announcement was made at a time when Tezos currently has similar partnerships live with 2022 world champion Red Bull F1 Racing, McLaren Racing, world-class baseball team the New York Mets, and Esports Organization ‘Team Vitality’.
All have deployed an NFT fan experience on the Tezos blockchain and display the Tezos logo on their uniforms and gear.
Now, sports Streaming and video on demand service FloSports has announced a multi-year partnership to build an NFT fan experience on the Tezos blockchain. The partnership includes Tezos brand placement.
“The partnership includes development of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) fan experiences built on Tezos, as well as prominent branding in FloSports’ owned-and-operated events and other live streamed sporting events across multiple categories including motorsports, grappling, and wrestling.
The partnership is the first sports streaming partnership featuring Tezos and is set to run through 2024.”
Currently the most prominent will be the upcoming grappling event series and a high-profile motorsports racing series which will soon be announced.
“Through this partnership, Tezos will become the Title Sponsor for FloSports’ popular owned-and-operated grappling event series, Tezos Who’s Number One (WNO), as well as select high profile motorsports racing series to be announced soon.
The Tezos logo will be incorporated at all touchpoints of the WNO brand including logo integration, co-branded marketing materials, on-site activations, in-stream graphic packages (commercials, verbal mentions/ad reads, lower thirds, graphical wipes, etc).
The company will also become a Presenting Sponsor for other grappling, wrestling, and motorsports events available on FloSports throughout the next two years.
The partnership will also see FloSports launch the company’s first-ever offering of digital collectible NFTs exclusively on the Tezos blockchain introducing exciting and unique sports fan experiences to fans.
Current plans for NFT development include experiences around live events, athletes, and memorabilia. Additional details around the NFT collection will be announced soon.”
