Splint Invest Integrates Tezos Blockchain to Expand Alternative Investments

Splint Invest, a cutting-edge alternative investment platform crafted in Switzerland, has integrated with the Tezos blockchain, further cementing its commitment to providing decentralized finance (DeFi) opportunities to its users.

A Look into Splint Invest

Offering an opportunity to diversify portfolios with alternative investments, Splint Invest allows its users to gain access to valuable assets handpicked by certified experts. With as little as €50, users can tap into assets traditionally reserved for the wealthy. The Splint Invest app guarantees full transparency, with no hidden or ongoing fees, ensuring users are always informed about their investments.

Splint Invest simplifies the investment process by taking care of the entire sales cycle. Their team, boasting over 20 years of experience in financial services and regulation, ensures every asset is evaluated monthly. When the predefined investment horizon concludes, they manage the sale of the asset.

Splint and Tezos Integration

As per the information from the company’s website and FAQs found on the mobile app, users can now export their splints – digital shares in alternative investments like luxury goods, rare whisky, private equity, and even Lego – from the Splint Invest platform to the Tezos blockchain. Splint tokens are FA2 compatible, allowing users to participate in the diverse DeFi ecosystem. Users can eventually import these tokens back to the platform, claiming profits just like traditional Splint owners.

However, users should exercise caution. Once a Splint is exported out of the Splint Invest platform, its safety becomes the responsibility of the wallet manager. Any loss or unauthorized access to these wallets is beyond Splint Invest’s control.

Each token exported comes with an attached permalink detailing terms and conditions. An example of this is the token representing co-ownership units, or “Splints”, of the [Whisky 33] Macallan Easter Elchies Vertical Collection. This token evidences ownership and provides users with complete details, from the issuer (MARK Investment Holding AG) to its smart contract on the Tezos blockchain.

Not only can you invest in fun assets – you can further withdraw your token to Tezos 💙

Tezos’ Bi-Annual Report Insights

As reported in Tezos Foundation’s bi-annual report for September 2022, MARK Investment Holding, based in Switzerland, has showcased its dedication to integrating Tezos into their Splint Invest platform. Users can now buy fractions of ownership, termed as “splints,” in tangible assets represented as tokens on the Tezos blockchain.

Wrapping Up

The partnership between Splint Invest and Tezos is emblematic of the growing symbiosis between traditional investment platforms and blockchain technologies. With this move, Splint Invest not only extends its technological frontier but also democratizes the investment space, making luxury assets more accessible to the wider public.
